All through SW:ToR we encounter various creatures. Some are friendly, others, well... are more hungry. But they are all interesting if you learn more about them. So here you will find links to more information about some of the critters we share our star wars galaxy with If there's a particular beastie you'd like to see more information on, just ask. I'll be adding beasts to the list on a regular basis.


Thranta-
If you've been to Alderaan you've encountered these fascinating flying beasts.

Nexu-
Seen prowling the wilds of planets such as Taris and Voss, these feline-ish creatures are known for their distinctive "smile"

Manka Cat-
Common on Tython and Alderaan, these fierce felines are hard to miss.

Nerf-
Generally peaceful grazing animals, the Nerf were widespread throughout the galaxy being mostly raised for their meat.

Terentatek-
Frequently found throughout SW:TOR, these fierce beasts of nightmare are often given more colorful names- The Beast of Marka Ragnos being a prime example. They are extremely long lived and many were resistant to the Force. They were many times used as tomb guardians by ancient Sith Lords.

Varactyl-
Used on many worlds as mounts or guard beasts, the Varactyl have a distinctive look with their reptilian bodies and feathery manes.

Rancor-
Seven meters tall, generally vicious and always hungry. These beasts are probably one of the most widely recognized of the star wars universe.

Bantha-
Most closely associated with the Tuskan people of Tatooine, these shaggy beasts are used as mounts and beasts of burden.

Gizka-
Generally regarded as a prolific pest aboard starships when they stow away, the gizka is an easily recognized creature. They are generally docile and some people have started keeping them as pets.

Tuk'ata-
Sometimes referred to as "sith hounds" these beasts were semi-sentient, some even learning the ancient sith language. They were often used as tomb guardians by ancient Sith Lords.
